C is the language of choice for most programmers, including me (no flames please =) Moreover, most of the software in todays world is written in C (with some patches in Assembly Language). I learned this language when I was a high school student.

Some Help

As you can see in the left menu bar, this section is divided into three parts at present. The tutorials part is perhaps the most important. It consists of articles and research work done by me in different fields. The project part enlists software / programs which I made in C language. All the programs are well documented. You will find them very useful. All the stuff in this site is written by me in public domain. However, there are numerous other very useful sites on the internet. So, do check out the links given.

Useful Information

At FAST ICS, we had to submit a project in C Language at the end of our second semester. Thus, we were not formally taught this language. Yet, all the students know it. I made a graphics file viewer for DOS. This program can display some types of BMP, PCX and GIF files. It was never intended for commercial use. So, you should download the software and use it to know what it does. You will come to know how to read in a directory, display files and use MODE13h.

On the other hand, if you don't know how to interpret graphics files, see my tutorial on BMP format. It will be very informative. However, do remember I have only worked in MS-DOS and MS-Windows environment.
